Water Wells for Copperbelt Schools

Primary schools in the Copperbelt (northern Zambia) need clean water. These wells cost approximately US $7,500 apiece for a 50 meter well with a hand pump installed. This includes a concrete apron around the well. Two or  more more wells could be done with one Matching Grant application.

Potential partner clubs: Luanshya, Kitwe, Kalulushi, Ndola, Ndola Mukuba, Kitwe North, Mufulira and Chingola

The local district will contribute $1,000 DDF for every two wells.
